We travel on Via Rail Canada east to glorious picture-perfect Quebec City where a complete city sightseeing tour which includes the Plains of Abraham, the historic Citadel and the Old Town. Later we arrive at our hotel (Hotel Chateau Laurier or similar) to begin our two-night stay in this magical setting.
A special treat today with lunch at an authentic sugar shack on the rustic Ile d'Orleans featuring Quebecois specialties like split pea soup and maple syrup baked ham and the famed sugar pie. Ile d'Orleans is an island in the St Lawrence and captures how life was in Quebec 300 years ago.
